Background Information
DRD2, also named D2DR and D2R, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. It is one of the five types (D1 to D5) of receptors for dopamine. The activity of DRD2 is mediated by G proteins which inhibit adenylyl cyclase. Defects in DRD2 are associated with dystonia type 11 (DYT11). The antibody is specific to DRD2.

Reviews
What customers say
Users report this antibody performs well across multiple applications. One reviewer (5/5) used it successfully for immunofluorescence at 1:200 dilution for tagging validation and plans to order more. Another (3/5) confirmed it works for western blotting on human cancer cell lines. A third (5/5) found it effective for both immunoprecipitation and western blot at 1:500 on rat brain tissue. Overall, the antibody is considered reliable for WB and IP, with positive feedback on IF performance as well.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
