  WB analysis using 68227-1-Ig (same clone as 68227-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68227-1-Ig (FABP1 antibody) at dilution of 1:20000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68227-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 68227-1-Ig (same clone as 68227-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug FABP1 Monoclonal antibody (68227-1-Ig, Clone:1B6C8) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1)(red), or 0.8 ug Mouse IgG1 isotype control Mouse McAb (66360-1-Ig, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68227-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

FABP1, liver fatty acid-binding protein, is abundant in cytoplasm that regulates lipid transport and metabolism. It plays a role in lipoprotein-mediated cholesterol uptake in hepatocytes (PMID:25732850). FABP1 is mainly expressed in hepatocytes, enterocytes and to a lesser degree in renal tubular cells, associated with liver injury (PMID: 15653098). Levels of FABP1 was elevated in patients with hepatocyte injury secondary to alcohol or drug toxicity (PMID: 14563446).
