Ready-to-use Flow Staining Buffer (1X) is recommended immunofluorescent staining protocols using viable or fixed cells in suspension for flow cytometry. Flow Staining Buffer is a buffered saline solution containing Bovine Calf Serum as a protein source to minimize nonspecific binding of antibodies and sodium azide (0.09%) as a preservative. This buffer can be used for diluting antibody, cell suspension, and as a wash steps for cell surface staining and flow cytometric analysis.
