  WB analysis of HEK-293 using 12408-1-AP (same clone as 12408-1-PBS)

  HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12408-1-AP (GEMIN4 antibody) at dilution of 1:100 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 12408-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

GEMIN4, also named as P97, is a sub-unit of SMN complex. The SMN complex plays a catalyst role in the assembly of small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs). It plays an important role in the splicing of cellular pre-mRNAs. The express amount of GEMIN4 is about 8.79 ppm (http://pax-db.org/#!protein/984742). This antibody detects 97-110 kDa GEMIN4.
