  FC experiment of A549 using 98942-1-RR (same clone as 98942-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 A549 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human GPI Rabbit RecAb (98942-1-RR, Clone: 261335A1) (red) or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control Recombinant Antibody (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98942-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

GPI (Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase), which is also named as autocrine motility factor (AMF), phosphoglucose isomerase (PGI), Neuroleukinis (NLK), phosphohexose isomerase (PHI) or sperm antigen 36 (SA-36), is a housekeeping cytosolic enzyme that plays a key role in both glycolysis and gluconeogenesis pathways. It is also a multifunctional protein that displays cytokine properties, eliciting mitogenic, motogenic, and differentiation activities, and has been implicated in tumor progression and metastasis (PMID:12783864, 19603112).
