  WB analysis of Recombinant protein using 82878-2-RR (same clone as 82878-2-PBS)

  Recombinant protein Eg0742 (IL-12 p70) were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 82878-2-RR (IL-12 p70 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82878-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 82878-2-PBS

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 82878-2-RR against Mouse IL-12 p70 were performed. The affinity constant is 7.37 nM.

Background Information

Interleukin-12 (IL-12), is a cytokine that is secreted by activated phagocytes and dendritic cells and that induces interferon-γproduction by natural-killer and T lymphocytes. IL-12 is a 75 kDa heterodimer composed of a 35 kDa subunit (IL-12A p35) and a 40 kDa subunit (IL-12B p40) that is secreted by a wide variety of antigen presenting cells (APCs), including phagocytes, B cells and Langerhans cells.
