  WB analysis of EL-4 using 83935-1-RR (same clone as 83935-1-PBS)

  Untreated EL-4 and EL-4 (treated with 50ng/mL PMA and Ionomycin 500ng/mL for 6h, replaced the culture medium with Brefeldin A for 18 hours) cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83935-1-RR (IL-13 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83935-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83935-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83935-1-RR against Rat IL-13 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.419 nM.

Background Information

Rat IL-13 is a kind of cytokines, which plays important roles in allergic inflammation and immune response to parasite infection. (PubMed:9366558). Rat IL-13 displays the capacity to antagonize Th1-driven proinflammatory immune response and downregulates synthesis of many proinflammatory cytokines including IL1, IL6, IL10, IL12 and TNF-alpha through a mechanism that partially involves suppression of NF-kappa-B (PubMed:9366558).
