Background Information
KIAA0513 was identified as upregulated in subjects with schizophrenia. The mRNA of KIAA0513 is ubiquitously expressed but is enriched in the brain, particularly in the cerebellum. The interacting protein analysis indicated that KIAA0513 is involved in both synaptic and apoptotic signaling. (PMID: 17010949) Several isoforms of KIAA0513 (47/46/34 kDa) exist due to the alternative splicing. This antibody is expected to recognize all of isoforms of KIAA0513.
