  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98803-1-RR (same clone as 98803-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 unstimulated or anti-CD3/CD28, IL-2, and IL-4 treated human PBMCs were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human LIF Rabbit RecAb (98803-1-RR, Clone: 252445F9) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98803-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

LIF is a pleiotropic cytokine with roles in several different systems. It is involved in the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, induction of neuronal cell differentiation, regulator of mesenchymal to epithelial conversion during kidney development, and may also have a role in immune tolerance at the maternal-fetal interface. LIF is a glycoprotein with variable molecular weight (38-67 kDa) due to differential glycosylation. (PMID: 8262236, PMID: 35204717)
