Background Information
Myelin protein zero-like 1 (MPZL1), also known as Protein zero-related, is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in extracellular matrix-induced signal transduction (PMID: 9792637; 11751924). Its extracellular segment has significant sequence homology to myelin P0, whereas its intracellular portion has two tyrosine phosphorylation sites resembling ITIMs (PMID: 9792637). Alternative splicing of the MPZL1 gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. This antibody raised against MPZL1 (BC019890, 147aa).
