Mouse serum - twelve samples were evaluated for detectable levels of Mouse IL-6, Mouse IL-10, Mouse IL-1 beta and Mouse TNF-alpha in this assay, all samples measured less than the lowest sta-ndard.
one mice were each injected with 15 ug of LPS and were bled 2 hours after injection. Mouse serum samples were evaluated for the presence of IL-6, IL-10, IL-1 beta, TNF-alpha in this assay.

Cell culture supernatant:
EL-4 mouse lymphoblast cells (9 x 105cells/mL) were cultured for 2 days in DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and stimulated with 10 ug/mL PHA and 10 ng/mL PMA. An aliquot o-f the culture supernate was removed, assayed for IL-6, IL-10, IL-1 beta, TNF-alpha.

SP2/0 Mouse Myeloma cells (1 x 106 cells/mL) were cultured for 3 days in RPMI with 10% fetal bovine serum, 50 uM β-mercaptoethanol, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin, and 100 ug/mL st-reptomycin sulfate. The cell culture supernatant was assayed for IL-6, IL-10, IL-1 beta, TNF-alpha.
