CNTN6, also named as hNB-3, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and Contactin family. CNTN6 contactins mediate cell surface interactions during nervous system development. CNTN6 participates in oligodendrocytes generation by acting as a ligand of NOTCH1.
