Nesprin-3, a protein that links intermediate filaments to the nucleus, regulates endothelial cell morphology, perinuclear cytoskeletal organization, and flow-induced cell polarization and migration. Nesprin-3 is robustly expressed in human aortic endothelial cells and localizes to the nuclear envelope(PMID: 21937718).
