  fetal human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27117-1-AP (PTN Antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  WB analysis of U-87 MG using 27117-1-AP

  U-87 MG (WT and PTN KO) lysates prepared with RIPA buffer, 25μg protein loaded. 55011-1-AP incubated at 1:500 at 4°C overnight in 5% milk in TBST. Ponceau stained transfers shown for each blot. These data were performed and provided by YCharOS in partnership with Proteintech.   IP experiment of U-87 MG using 27117-1-AP

  U-87 MG lysates prepared and IP of APP performed using 2.0 μg of 25524-1-AP coupled to protein A- magnetic beads. The Ponceau stained transfers of each blot are shown. Background Information

Pleiotrophin (PTN) is a multifunctional, cationic, glycosaminoglycan-binding cytokine and growth factor involved in numerous physiological and pathological processes, including tissue repair and inflammation-related diseases. PTN is highly upregulated in the brain in different disorders characterized by overt neuroinflammation such as neurodegenerative diseases, drug addiction, traumatic injury, and ischemia. PTN is important for CNS repair and for survival and differentiation of dopaminergic neurons.
