  WB analysis using 87647-3-RR

  Non-treated mouse brain tissue, phosphatase inhibitor treated mouse brain tissue and λ phosphatase treated mouse brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 87647-3-RR (Phospho-CRMP2 (Thr514) antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Beta Actin (66009-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control.

Background Information

Dihydropyrimidinase-like 2 (Dpysl2), a protein involved in neuronal differentiation and axonal guidance is found altered in various nervous system diseases. It is also named as CRMP2, ULIP2 and belongs to hydantoinase/dihydropyrimidinase subfamily. Phospho-CRMP2 (Thr514) refers to the phosphorylated form of Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 2 (CRMP2) at threonine residue 514. CRMP2 is a cytosolic phosphoprotein highly expressed in the nervous system that regulates microtubule dynamics, axonal growth, and neuronal polarity. (PMID: 27609071)
