  WB analysis using 83623-5-RR (same clone as 83623-5-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83623-5-RR (RBMS1 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83623-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 83623-5-RR (same clone as 83623-5-PBS)

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug RBMS1 Recombinant antibody (83623-5-RR, Clone:240677D6) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83623-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83623-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83623-5-RR against Human RBMS1 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.726 nM.

Background Information

RBMS1 (RNA binding motif single stranded interacting protein 1), also known as C2orf12. It is expected to be located in the nucleus, which is ubiquitinated in placenta and endometrium. Highest amounts are found in placenta, lung and heart. This gene encodes a member of a small family of proteins which bind single stranded DNA/RNA. These proteins are characterized by the presence of two sets of ribonucleoprotein consensus sequence (RNP-CS) that contain conserved motifs, RNP1 and RNP2, originally described in RNA binding proteins, and required for DNA binding. These proteins have been implicated in such diverse functions as DNA replication, gene transcription, cell cycle progression and apoptosis. The molecular weight of RBMS1 is 45 kDa.
