Background Information
The RING finger (RNF) family, containing the N-terminal RING domain, is the largest E3 ubiquitin ligase family with 340 validated human members (PMID: 25609945). RNF150 proteins belong to the Goliath family and are involved in apoptosis and embryonic development (PMID: 19690564). RNF150 might be involved in the progression of GC partly via heparin binding which correlates well with angiogenesis and hematogenous metastasis (PMID: 37528105). There are four isoforms of RNF150, 48kDa, 44kDa, 43kDa, 32 kDa respectively.
