  WB analysis using 83771-5-RR (same clone as 83771-5-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83771-5-RR (SMUG1 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83771-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of U-2 OS using 83771-5-RR (same clone as 83771-5-PBS)

  1x10^6 U-2 OS were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug SMUG1 Recombinant antibody (83771-5-RR, Clone:240817E4) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer Set. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83771-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

• 

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83771-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83771-5-RR against Human SMUG1 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

Background Information

UNG(Uracil-DNA glycosylase) removes uracil in DNA resulting from deamination of cytosine or replicative incorporation of dUMP instead of dTMP. Thus, UNG plays a role in suppressing GC-to-AT transition mutations.The UNG gene encodes 2 isoforms that are individually targeted to the mitochondria and the nucleus(PMID:12369930).Defects in UNG are a cause of immunodeficiency with hyper-IgM type 5 (HIGM5).
