Background Information
SRPRB is a signal recognition granule receptor β subunit protein, belonging to the GTPase superfamily of transmembrane GTPases. Located on the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, its main function is to anchor the signal recognition granule receptor α subunit to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, participating in the co-translation of secretory proteins and membrane proteins targeting the endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
