  mouse eye tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15773-1-AP (VAX2 Antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Background Information

Ventral anterior homeobox 2 (VAX2) has been reported to be specifically expressed in the ventral region of the prospective neural retina in vertebrates and plays crucial roles in regulating the proper development of the ventral region of eye (PMID: 21148184). VAX2 inactivatiin mouse leads to alterations in the establishment of a proper dorsoventral eye axis during embryonic development (PMID: 33817157).
