Background Information
VCAN, also named as PG-M, CSPG2 and GHAP, belongs to the aggrecan/versican proteoglycan family. VCAN may play a role in intercellular signaling and in connecting cells with the extracellular matrix. VCAN may take part in the regulation of cell motility, growth and differentiation. VCAN binds hyaluronic acid. The antibody recognizes the C-term of VCAN.
