Validation Data Gallery

• 

  WB analysis using 19493-1-AP

  MCF-7 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19493-1-AP (VLDLR antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  WB analysis of mouse ovary using 19493-1-AP

  mouse ovary tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19493-1-AP (VLDLR antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Background Information

VLDLR binds VLDL and transports it into cells by endocytosis. In order to be internalized, the receptor-ligand complexes must first cluster into clathrin-coated pits. VLDLR binding to Reelin induces tyrosine phosphorylation of Dab1 and modulation of Tau phosphorylation (cytoplasmic domain of low-density lipoprotein receptor). For glycosylated, the MW of VLDLR migrates to ~160kd.
