Background Information
CTGF, also known as CCN2, is a member of the CCN family of matricellular proteins. CTGF, a cysteine-rich, matrix-associated, heparin-binding protein, is widely expressed in various human tissues and organs. CTGF has important roles in many biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, angiogenesis, skeletal development, and tissue wound repair, and is critically involved in fibrotic disease and several forms of cancers.

Reviews
What customers say
The single review for this recombinant rabbit antibody (used in Western Blot at 1/1000 dilution on mesenchymal stem cells) rates it 3 out of 5. The reviewer noted the antibody detects the target clearly and quickly, but the band appeared at a lower molecular weight than expected. They attributed this discrepancy to their own cell type and protein extraction method rather than the antibody itself. Overall, the feedback suggests reliable detection with a caveat about the observed molecular weight.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
Zahida (Verified Customer) (04-15-2025) | It shows up well and quickly, but it's not at the right molecular weight — it's lower. That could be due to my cells and the way I extract the proteins
