Background Information
Tranforming growth factor beta-2 (TGFB2), also named G-TSF, BSC-1 cell growth inhibitor, Polyergin and Cetermin, belongs to the TGF-beta family. TGFB2 is a secreted protein and contains a 19aa signal peptides at its N-terminal. Heterodimers with TGFB1 and with TGFB2 have been found in bone. It was proved to have suppressive effects on interleukin-2 dependent T-cell growth.

FH Maxence (Verified Customer) (02-12-2026) | This TGFB2 works well in IF-P. The staining is localized in the damaged lung area, on club cells and on alveolar macrophages, as expected. We can see a good co-localization with CD68 (in white) on alveolar macrophages. The IF was performed on FFPE human tonsil tissue slide with Dako antigen retrival pH9. Primary incubation was performed at 1:100 overnight (16h) at 4°C. Secondary incubation was performed with Goat anti-Rabbit (for TGFB2) and Goat anti-Mouse (for CD68) at 1:1000 for 1h at RT. Image were taken with a Leica THUNDER at 20x magnification.
