  WB analysis using 85805-2-RR (same clone as 85805-2-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 85805-2-RR (SEC61B antibody) at dilution of 1:20000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85805-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  WB analysis of HepG2 using 85805-2-RR (same clone as 85805-2-PBS)

  WB result of SEC61B antibody (85805-2-RR; 1:30000; incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours) with sh-Control and sh-SEC61B transfected HepG2 cells. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85805-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of HeLa using 85805-2-RR (same clone as 85805-2-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HeLa cells using SEC61B antibody (85805-2-RR, Clone: 250082D3 ) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85805-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity of 85805-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 85805-2-RR against Human SEC61B were performed. The affinity constant is 28.9 pM.

Background Information

The heteromeric SEC61 complex is composed of alpha, beta and gamma subunits. Oligomers of the SEC61 complex form a transmembrane channel where proteins are translocated across and integrated into the ER membrane (PMID: 10212142). SEC61B is the beta subunit of the SEC61 complex. It has been reported that SEC61B facilitates cotranslational protein transport and interacts with the signal peptidase during translocation (PMID: 9585408).
