What published studies show
The CAPRIN2 Polyclonal antibody (Cat# 20766-1-AP) has 2 citations. One appears in Neuroendocrinology (2022), studying transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of oxytocin and vasopressin gene expression in rat. The other is in Developmental Dynamics (2015), investigating Caprin2 deficiency causing lens defects and Peters anomaly features in mouse. The associated research fields are neuroendocrinology and developmental biology.

Reviews
What customers say
The two reviews reflect mixed performance. One user (4/5) reported the antibody worked well for Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation on HEK293T cells, as well as WB and IF on rat tissue, but noted it failed for IP on rat neuronal samples. The other user (2/5) tested it on MRC-9 lung fibroblasts by WB and could not detect Caprin2, suggesting either poor detection or absence of the target in that cell line. Overall, the antibody shows reliable performance in certain cell types and tissues but may have limitations depending on the sample and application.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
Paul (Verified Customer) (04-29-2019) | Antibody works very well for WB and IP from HEK293T cells, and works well for WB and IF from rat tissue samples. However, I couldn't get the antibody to work for IP from rat neuronal samples.

Criseyda (Verified Customer) (09-21-2018) | Two possibilities: Antibody is not detecting Carping protein well or Caprin2 is not expressed in these cells.
