IF Staining of mouse brain using 87790-1-RR
Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue using MARCH5 antibody (87790-1-RR, Clone: 253335F11 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Background Information

MARCH5(E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCH5) is a 31 kDa protein also named as RNF153. This protein plays a protective role against mitochondrial dysfunction caused by the mitochondrial accumulation of mSOD1 via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway (PMID:19741096). And it may regulate MAP1B LC1 function in mitochondria by controlling mitochondrial aggregation via mitochondrial LC1 levels(PMID:22308378). MEARCH5 can exsit as a homodimer with MW 65-70 kDa.
