WB analysis using 87869-3-RR
Non-treated HeLa cells and paclitaxel treated HeLa cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 87869-3-RR (Phospho-CBX3 (Ser93) antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Beta Actin (66009-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control.

1x10^6 HeLa cells untreated (dashed lines) or treated with paclitaxel which intracellularly stained with 0.13 ug Phospho-CBX3 (Ser93) Recombinant monoclonal antibody (87869-3-RR, Clone:260091A2) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.13 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Phosphorylated Protein Fixation/Permeabilization Kit (PF00026).

Background Information

CBX3, also known as HP1γ (Heterochromatin Protein 1 gamma), is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 7p15.2. Phospho-CBX3 (Ser93) refers to the phosphorylated form of Chromobox Homolog 3 (CBX3), also known as HP1γ (Heterochromatin Protein 1 gamma), at serine residue 93. This phosphorylation site is located in the N-terminal tail region of the protein and plays a regulatory role in chromatin binding and transcriptional control. (PMID: 39907700)
