Background
Serpina family A member 4 (SERPINA4), also known as KAL, KST, or kallistatin, was first identified as a tissue kallikrein-binding protein in the 1900s. SERPINA4 is a novel anti-angiogenesis agent, which exerts multiple effects on inflammation, angiogenesis, and tumor growth.
