Background Information
WTAP, also named as KIAA0105 and hFL(2)D, is previously identified as a protein associated with Wilms' tumor-1 (WT-1) protein that is essential for the development of the genitourinary system. It is a Pre-mRNA-splicing regulator protein. It is a regulatory subunit of the WMM N6-methyltransferase complex which plays a role in the efficiency of mRNA splicing and processing and mRNA stability. It is required for accumulation of METTL3 and METTL14 to nuclear speckle. MW of WTAP is 45-50 kDa due to phosphorylation.

Reviews
What customers say
Both reviewers used this antibody for Western Blot with positive results. One user (5/5) reported clean WTAP detection with no undesired bands at a 1:1000 dilution in human lung cancer cell lines (Ludlu-1, H1299, A549), incubating overnight at 4°C. Another user (4/5) successfully detected WTAP in RCC4 human cells at a 1:2000 dilution, comparing normoxic versus hypoxic conditions. Overall, the antibody is well-received for its specificity and reliable performance in Western Blot applications across different human cell lines.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
