Background Information
ACSM5(Acyl-CoA synthetase medium-chain family member 5) is also named as MACS3 and belongs to the ATP-dependent AMP-binding enzyme family. ACSM5 has medium-chain fatty acid:CoA ligase activity with broad substrate specificity (in vitro). This protein has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.

Reviews
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
FH Maxence (Verified Customer) (02-12-2026) | This ACSM5 works very well in IF-P. The staining is well localized in the renal tubules with strong staining and shows very weak staining in the glomeruli, as expected. The IF was performed on FFPE human tonsil tissue slide with Dako antigen retrival pH9. Primary incubation was performed at 1:200 overnight (16h) at 4°C. Secondary incubation was performed with Goat anti-Mouse at 1:1000 for 1h at RT. Image were taken with a Leica THUNDER at 20x magnification.
