  IHC staining of human gliomas using 19778-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human gliomas tissue slide using 19778-1-AP (ADRA2B-Specific antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  FC experiment of HEK-293 using 19778-1-AP

  1X10^6 HEK-293 cells were stained with 0.2ug ADRA2B-Specific antibody (19778-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 4% PFA blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1500.

Tested Applications

• Positive IHC detected in: human gliomas tissue; Note: suggested antigen retrieval with TE buffer pH 9.0; (*) Alternatively, antigen retrieval may be performed with citrate buffer pH 6.0

Recommended dilution

• Immunohistochemistry (IHC): IHC : 1:50-1:500
• Flow Cytometry (FC): FC : 0.20 ug per 10^6 cells in a 100 µl suspension

Background Information

ADRA2B, also named as ADRA2L1 and ADRA2RL1, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. ADRA2B mediates the catecholamine-induced inhibition of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The antibody is specific to ADRA2B.
