  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 32945-1-AP (AP3S1 antibody) at dilution of 1:4000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 32945-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded mouse kidney tissue using AP3S1 antibody (32945-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 32945-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

AP-3 complex subunit sigma-1 (AP3S1) is a component of the heterotetrameric adaptor protein complex-3 (AP-3), which plays a central role in intracellular protein trafficking (PMID: 34565296). AP3S1 is also a potential pan-cancer oncogene and plays an essential role in tumorigenesis and cancer immunity. Elevated expression of AP3S1 indicates an immunosuppressive microenvironment and can be used as a potential prognostic biomarker and a target for immunotherapy (PMID: 35874816; 38609993).
