• 

  WB analysis using 68108-1-Ig

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68108-1-Ig (AXL antibody) at dilution of 1:20000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with Lamin B1 Monoclonal antibody (66095-1-Ig) as loading control.

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using 68108-1-Ig

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human AXL (68108-1-Ig, Clone:3D12F11) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Recommended dilution

• Western Blot (WB): WB : 1:5000-1:50000

Background Information

Axl, also known as Ufo or Ark, is a receptor tyrosine kinase of the TAM (Tyro3, Axl and Mer) family. Axl is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing two fibronectin type-III domains, two Ig-like C2-type domains and one protein kinase domain. Axl mRNA is widely expressed with highest levels in the heart and skeletal muscle. Gas6 has been identified as a ligand for human Axl. Gas6/Axl signaling plays a role in cell survival, cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. It has been reported that 110-120 kDa non-glycosylated AXL protein can be detected(PMID: 31171001). Endogenous Axl is auto-phosphorylated and reacted with a tyrosine-phosphorylated protein of 140 kDa(PMID: 12730092).
