Background Information
C12ORF45, also known as NOPCHAP1, is an assembly factor for the NOP-protein chaperone 1, which is an intrinsically disordered protein in free state. NOPCHAP1 plays a bridging role in the assembly of C/D snoRNPs, facilitating the selection of NOP58 and the assembly of box C/D snoRNPs.
