Background Information

ELP5, also named as C17orf81, DERP6 and S-phase 2 protein, acts as subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex. It's involved in TP53-mediated transcriptional regulation. ELP5 has some isoforms with MW 20 kDa, 30 kDa and 34-37 kDa.
