Background Information
CD207 protein (also known as langerin protein) is encoded by the CD207 gene and is a type of C-type lectin receptor that is specifically expressed on the surface of LCs. It is one of the specific immunohistochemical markers of LCs (PMID: 37383183, PMID: 28109175). CD207 plays an important role in a series of non-classical antigen processing processes, such as forming Birbeck granules and processing and transporting them to local lymphoid tissue, and inducing LC maturation (PMID: 32326440).

Reviews
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
FH Rafailia (Verified Customer) (04-22-2026) | The antibody performs well in immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human skin tissue. However, it did not yield comparable results in immunofluorescence (IF), likely due to high background staining that reduced signal specificity.
