  WB analysis using 15061-1-AP (same clone as 15061-1-PBS)

  LNCaP cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15061-1-AP (DHRS7 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15061-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat skeletal muscle tissue slide using 15061-1-AP (DHRS7 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 15061-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

DHRS7 (Dehydrogenase/Reductase (SDR family) member 7), also known as SDR34C1, retSDR4, is a member of a large family of short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR). The DHRS7 gene codes for two subtypes and is found on chromosome 14. Isotype 1 (38 kDa) has 339 amino acids, while isotype 2 (32 kDa) contains 289 amino acids (PMID: 26466768). DHRS7 has been demonstrated to be an integral protein facing the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum with lack of posttranscriptional glycosylation modification(PMID: 24246760).
