  The mean EPHA2 concentration was determined to be 59.7 ng/mL in mouse lung tissue extract based on a 5.0 mg/mL extract load, 33.8 ng/mL in mouse spleen tissue extract based on a 7.6 mg/mL extract load, 4.6 ng/mL in mouse heart tissue extract based on a 5.4 mg/mL extract load.

Background Information

EPH receptor A2 (EPHA2) is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) of the Eph receptor family that primarily binds glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored ephrin-A ligands, especially ephrin-A1 (EFNA1), to mediate contact-dependent cell-cell signaling. In mice, Epha2 is broadly expressed in epithelial, endothelial, and selected stromal compartments, where it regulates cell adhesion, polarity, migration, proliferation, barrier organization, and tissue architecture.
