  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed A431 cells using FAM21C antibody (33047-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 33047-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

WASHC2C encodes WASH complex subunit 2C, a core subunit of the WASH complex that organizes endosomal membrane remodeling and cargo recycling. It binds phospholipids such as PtdIns-(4)P and the retromer component VPS35, linking endosomal localization to actin-based membrane dynamics. The protein is found on the early endosome membrane, in the early endosome, endosome, and cytosol, and is expressed at high levels in the male reproductive system with detectable expression in brain, endocrine system, and hematopoietic system.
