  WB analysis using 11234-1-AP (same clone as 11234-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 11234-1-AP (FGF-2 antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 11234-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 11234-1-AP (same clone as 11234-1-PBS)

  1X10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human FGF-2 (11234-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control. Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 11234-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

• 

  FC experiment of K-562 using 11234-1-AP (same clone as 11234-1-PBS)

  1X10^6 K-562 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human FGF-2 (11234-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control. Background Information

Fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2), also referred to as basic FGF, belongs to a family of growth factors that stimulate proliferation of cells of mesenchymal, epithelial and neuroectodermal origin. The mRNA for this gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites, and is alternatively translated from non-AUG (CUG) and AUG initiation codons, resulting in at least five different isoforms with distinct properties.
