  WB analysis of mouse liver using 20268-1-AP (same clone as 20268-1-PBS)

  mouse liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 20268-1-AP (FOXH1-Specific antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 20268-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

FOXH1, also named as FAST1 and FAST2, is a transcriptional activator. FOXH1 recognizes and binds to the DNA sequence 5'-TGT[GT][GT]ATT-3'. It is required for induction of the goosecoid (GSC) promoter by TGF-beta or activin signaling. It forms a transcriptionally active complex containing FOXH1/SMAD2/SMAD4 on a site on the GSC promoter called TARE (TGF-beta/activin response element). The antibody is specific to FOXH1.
