  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 24604-1-AP (GALNT13 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 24604-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 13 (GALNT13) is a recently identified member of the UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine: polypeptide N-acetyl galactosaminy transferases family, otherwise known as ppGalNAc-Tases, which control the initiation of mucin-type O-glycosylation. GALNT13 and the trimeric Tn antigen have been considered as tumor-associated antigens, and might be useful prognostic factors in many types of human cancers (PMID: 34830771, 27499036, 36575396)
