Background
Ecotropic viral integration site 2B (EVI2B), also known as CD361, was first reported to be a common viral integration site in retrovirally-induced murine leukemia. Zjablovskaja et al. showed EVI2B was necessary for granulocytic differentiation and functionality of hematopoietic progenitors.
