  1x10^6 untreated or PHA treated human PBMCs were surface stained with FcZero-rAb® APC Anti-Human CD3 and 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human ICOS/CD278 Rabbit scFv Antibody (CL488-SF98214, Clone: 241770G11). Cells were not fixed.

  1x10^6 PHA treated human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human ICOS/CD278 Rabbit scFv Antibody (CL488-SF98214, Clone: 241770G11) (red) or 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Rabbit scFv Isotype Control (CL488-SF98136, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). 1x10^6 untreated human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human ICOS/CD278 Rabbit scFv Antibody (CL488-SF98214, Clone: 241770G11) (black, dashed). Cells were not fixed.

Background Information

Inducible T cell co-stimulator (ICOS) is related to the CD28 superfamily and is highly expressed on activated T cells as well as regulatory T cells and is crucial for the survival and function of T cells, Th2 cell differentiation, and lung inflammatory responses. Binding ICOS to ICOS-ligand (ICOS-L) activates a cascade of intracellular signaling molecules that prevent apoptosis and lead to the production of cytokines such as IL-4 and IL-13.
