  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 84092-1-RR (IGFBP2 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 84092-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Sandwich ELISA standard curve of MP01011-1, Mouse IGFBP2 Recombinant Matched Antibody Pair - PBS only. 84092-1-PBS was coated to a plate as the capture antibody and incubated with serial dilutions of standard Eg1196. 84092-2-PBS was HRP conjugated as the detection antibody. Range: 0.313-20 ng/mL.

  Sample test of MP01011-1

  One mouse kidney was cultured for 18 hours in RPMI 1640 supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 50 μM β-mercaptoethanol, 2 mM L-glutamine, and 100 μg/mL of streptomycin sulfate. The cells were stimulated with 10 μg/mL of PHA and 10 ng/mL of PMA. An aliquot of the cell culture supernatant was removed, assayed for mouse IGFBP2 and measured 38.18 ng/mL.

  Serum of six mouse was measured. The IGFBP2 concentration of detected samples was determined to be 152.26 ng/mL with a range of 95.84-279.86 ng/mL.

Background Information

IGFBP2 is a key member of the IGFBP family that is highly expressed in embryonic and fetal tissues and decreases significantly after birth. IGFBP2 mediates IGF-independent tumorigenesis by participating in intracellular and nuclear regulatory networks and may serve as an excellent prognostic biomarker in various cancers (PMID: 35546443).
