WB analysis using 68399-1-Ig (same clone as 68399-1-PBS)
Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68399-1-Ig (NVL antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated Alpha Tubulin Monoclonal antibody (HRP-66031) as loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68399-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

1x10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.2 ug NVL Monoclonal antibody (68399-1-Ig, Clone:1D8G4) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1)(red), or 0.2 ug Mouse IgG1 isotype control Mouse McAb (66360-1-Ig, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68399-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

NVL(nuclear VCP-like) , also named as NVL2, belongs to the AAA ATPase family and may facilitate the dissociation and recycling of nucleolin, thereby promoting efficient ribosome biogenesis. It acts as an ATP-dependent zinc metallopeptidase. NVL plays an essential role in ribosome biogenesis by specifically associating with ribosomal protein L5 and modulating the function of DOB1, thereby participating in the assembly of the 60S ribosomal subunit. Additionally, NVL is required for telomerase assembly and the regulation of telomerase activity, and is involved in pre-rRNA processing. This protein has 5 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
