  WB analysis of human liver using 19709-1-AP (same clone as 19709-1-PBS)

  human liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19709-1-AP (neurturin-Specific antibody) at dilution of 1:400 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 19709-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 19709-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

NRTN belongs to the TGF-beta family and GDNF subfamily. NRTN supports the survival of sympathetic neurons in culture. NRTN may regulate the development and maintenance of the CNS. It might control the size of non-neuronal cell population such as haemopoietic cells. Defects in NRTN are a cause of Hirschsprung disease (HSCR). The antibody is specific to NRTN.
