  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27737-1-AP (Nexilin antibody) at dilution of 1:80000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 27737-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue slide using 27737-1-AP (Nexilin antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Background Information

Nexilin, Also known as NEXN, NELIN, is a filamentous actin-binding protein that localizes to focal contacts and may be involved in cell adhesion and migration(PMID: 15823560). Nexilin is abundantly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle and has an essential role in the maintenance of Z line and sarcomere integrity(PMID: 12053183, 19881492). Mutations in Nexilin have been associated with cardiomyopathy dilated type 1CC (CMD1CC) and cardiomyopathy familial hypertrophic type 20 (CMH20)(PMID: 19881492, 20970104).
