  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HepG2 cells using OAT antibody (85218-2-RR, Clone: 242843D8 ) at dilution of 1:500 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85218-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Ornithine-delta-aminotransferase (OAT) (EC 2.6.1.13) is a pyridoxal-5' phosphate dependent mitochondrial matrix enzyme. It controls the L-ornithine (Orn) level in tissues by catalysing the transfer of the delta-amino group of Orn to 2-oxoglutarate. OAT an enzyme mainly expressed in liver.
